SubSplash: Frequently Asked Questions

What is SubSplash?

SubSplash is a secure church platform that brings our website, mobile app, communication, giving, and ministry coordination into one place. Instead of using multiple tools, everything is connected and easier to use.

How is this different from a printed or emailed directory?

SubSplash provides a private, password-protected member directory that members control.

·         No public access

·         No outdated printed lists

·         You choose what information is visible
It’s more secure, more accurate, and easier to keep current.

Do I have to use the app?

No. SubSplash works on computers, tablets, and phones through a web browser.
That said, there is also a free, dedicated church app for both Android and iOS, which makes access faster and more convenient if you choose to use it.

What can I do in the app that I can’t do easily elsewhere?

In one place, you can:

·         Watch live-streamed worship services

·         View a sermon archive anytime

·         See announcements and calendars

·         Sign up for events or volunteer opportunities

·         Receive important notifications

·         Give offerings securely

·         Participate in Bible reading plans

How does SubSplash help with worship when I can’t attend in person?

Services can be viewed live or on demand through the app or website. This is especially helpful for members who are traveling, homebound, or want to revisit a sermon later in the week.

Is giving through SubSplash safe?

Yes. Online and mobile giving are secure and encrypted.
Members can:

·         Make one-time gifts

·         Set up recurring offerings

·         View their giving history
This allows consistent support of ministry even when attendance isn’t possible.

How will I receive church announcements?

Important updates—such as schedule changes, weather-related notices, or urgent announcements—can be sent directly to your phone or email.
Notifications are used intentionally, not constantly, and do not require social media.

How does this help growth groups and Bible studies?

SubSplash helps groups stay organized by:

·         Sharing updates and resources in one place

·         Coordinating schedules and communication

·         Reducing long email chains and missed messages

It supports ministry life without adding complexity.

What about Bible reading and spiritual growth?

The platform includes Bible reading plans and devotional tools that encourage regular time in God’s Word. These resources help support personal devotion and shared spiritual focus throughout the congregation.

Is my information shared publicly or sold?

No. Member information is private, not searchable online, and not sold. Access is limited to those you choose to share with, within our congregation’s secure system.

Is our church website changing or moving to a new address?

No. FaithTally.org will keep the same web address and remain the official website of our congregation.

SubSplash works behind the scenes to support and power features of the website and app, but members and visitors can continue to visit FaithTally.org just as they always have. Nothing new needs to be memorized, and existing links will continue to work.

Can I share the app with family, friends, or others outside the congregation?

Yes. Members are encouraged to share the app with others. While certain features (like the member directory) are private, much of the app is open to everyone.

Non-members can:

·         Learn about Faith’s ministry and mission

·         Watch live-streamed services and past sermons

·         View public events and announcements

·         Access Bible reading plans and spiritual resources

·         Get a sense of who we are before ever visiting in person

This makes the app an easy way to invite others, stay connected with distant family, and share the ministry of Faith beyond our walls.

Why is the church using SubSplash instead of multiple tools?

Using one connected platform means:

·         Less confusion

·         Fewer duplicate records

·         Less paperwork for volunteers and staff

That allows more time and energy to be spent on people, ministry, and care, rather than managing systems.

Is this replacing personal connection?

Not at all. SubSplash is a tool that supports connection, not a substitute for it.
It helps communication, participation, and worship stay accessible so that relationships and ministry can flourish.
